Our Company
Founded by Russell Warner and expanded in 2023 with Roberto Francioni, RW Golf GmbH aims to strengthen golf communities and help members improve their games, thereby increasing their engagement with the sport. The company's pioneering programs have established what is likely one of the most well-attended member coaching initiatives in Switzerland, and potentially across Europe.
Russell's Background:
Son of a PGA Professional, Russell initially trained in the UK before getting the opportunity to move to Switzerland, where he has been based ever since. He is the Head Professional at Golfclub Heidental in Stüsslingen, where the academy has developed successful programs to grow participation among junior and recreational golfers. Alongside his work at the club, Russell has been part of coaching teams for some of Switzerland's top players and is a regular consultant to many professional players. Russell has had roles as lead of the Swiss PGA Education Commitee and Preformance Coach for the Swiss Golf Professioanl Team.
Russell's Approach:
Russell believes that the actions and behaviors of people ultimately determine the outcomes. Since these are guided by the beliefs and values of individuals, he believes it is important to support people's development to ensure the decisions they make lead to positive outcomes.
In his 20 years as Head Professional at Heidental, Russell has strived for a "win-win-win" situation. This means the golf club benefits from proactive PGA staff to ensure a healthy flow of active participants, the golfers benefit from a strong sense of community and high-quality coaching that keeps them engaged in the game, and the PGA professionals work as a united team with a common goal.
